CHILDREN MINISTRIESLoving and creative teachers lead classes and programs from Kindergarten through 5th grade, providing Biblically based curriculum in a developmentally appropriate, safe, and Christ-centered manner.
The child care program enables all children, infants through pre-K, to grow in their knowledge of God, His house, and His body of believers, in an environment that is appropriate for their intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual development. We feel that a church child care program is more than just a place where infants and toddlers are watched. Instead, our child care program celebrates childhood by working to meet the needs of the whole child. This can be evidenced by loving and dedicated teachers who begin to teach about God, His house, and His body of believers beginning with the infant class. Our child care program has an infant, toddler, and two Pre-K classes.
The Marietta Alliance Church AWANA Clubs Program includes children in Preschool through 5th grade. The clubs meet on Wednesday s during the school year from 7:00 to 8:15pm. The individual clubs are organized as follows: Two primary goals of the AWANA program are for the children to learn God’s Word (through memorization of Bible passages in club handbooks) and to be exposed to the gospel message (of salvation through Jesus Christ) through the club activities. Children participate in individualized classroom activities (Handbook Time), large group lessons (Council Time) and structured games (Game Time) during the club time. Special events for clubbers and their families are held occasionally throughout the year, such as the AWANA Grand Prix (pinewood car races) AWANA Games (Olympic-style competition for teams). We invite you and your child to come visit our program and learn more about AWANA! |
