C.A.R.E. GROUPS

imageCare Groups organize the church body into smaller entities for the purposes of prayer, dissemination of information, and responding to physical needs (e.g. meals). Care Group leaders (Elders) regularly pray, contact, and plan events for their group and/or group members.

The following details the function of our Care Groups:

C - Create an opportunity where people can come together in smaller groups to develop koinonia.

A - Assist in distributing information and prayer needs to the congregation.

R - Reinforce the ministry of caring for one another; meeting spiritual, social, physical and emotional needs through the “one anothers” of the New Testament:

Love one another - John 13:34, 35
Accept one another – Romans 15:7
Serve one another – Galatians 5:13
Carry each other’s burdens – Galatians 6:2
Encourage one another daily – Hebrews 3:15
Build each other up – I Thessalonians 5:11
Pray for one another – James 5:16
Offer hospitality to one another – I Peter 4:9

E - Encourage all members of the church family to take the initiative in organizing, inviting, and participating in activities that draw our people closer together.
